WINTERVILLE—The Pitt Community College Small Business Center and the Pitt-Greenville Chamber of Commerce are teaming up this fall on a series of free seminars that offer small business owners tips for growing and marketing their services.

The four-part “Lunch-N-Learn” series kicks off Sept. 4 with a presentation on utilizing LinkedIn as a tool for developing relationships and establishing a reputation as a “thought leader” within a particular field. Later installments will focus on event marketing strategies (Sept. 25), using Search Engine Optimization to get the most out of business websites (Oct. 9), and methods for determining how effective marketing dollars are being spent (Oct. 23).

“We could all use some expert advice on how to fine-tune our marketing efforts to take advantage of the vibrant business climate in Greenville/Pitt County,” said PCC Small Business Center Director Jim Ensor.

Jeanne Eury, managing partner of the 8 Arms Group in Raleigh, will lead each “Lunch-N-Learn” presentation. For the past four years with the marketing agency, she has offered strategy, training, traditional and digital marketing services, resources, humor and encouragement to current and potential entrepreneurs and independent businesses.

“Jeanne Eury’s no-nonsense approach to improving customer access to our businesses, and the resulting sales increases, is refreshing and effective,” Ensor said.

All “Lunch-N-Learn” events will take place at the Greenville Hilton, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Participants are encouraged to either bring a lunch to the presentations or be prepared to purchase lunch at their own expense from a limited Villedge menu.

Though there is no charge for the seminars, they do require pre-registration by visiting https://www.ncsbc.net/center.aspx?center=75380 or calling (252) 493-7528.
