WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College Enrollment Services will hold “Registration Week” in August to give students an opportunity to complete admissions applications, file financial aid paperwork and meet with academic advisors to sign up for fall classes.

PCC Director of Recruiting and First-Year Experience John Carrere says “Registration Week” gives new and returning students freedom to create class schedules that meet their availability and degree completion needs.

“These events are open to all students wanting to speak with advisors one-on-one to determine their course schedules,” Carrere said. “Current students are also welcome to create their fall schedules online and submit them for approval virtually. If they have advising questions, they can send them to pccadvising@my.pittcc.edu for assistance.”

Carrere says “Registration Week” will take place Aug. 7-10 in the Craig F. Goess Student Center’s Davenport Multipurpose Room, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. In addition to student success advisors who assist with course scheduling, he says staff from the PCC Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid Office and Cashier’s Office will be available to assist with registration.

A final in-person registration is scheduled for Aug. 16, the day before fall classes begin. Carrere says the program will take place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Davenport Multipurpose Room to ensure all students, new and returning, have a chance to enroll in 16-week courses.
