PHOTO: Cleghorn Donates to PCC Foundation in Support of Vets

Zack Cleghorn presents a $5,000-check to PCC Scholarships Coordinator Kim Simpkins, left, and PCC Foundation Executive Director Beth Sigmon to establish the Star 6 Sigma Leadership Veterans Scholarship. Cleghorn, owner/lead instructor with Star 6 Leadership, created the PCC Foundation scholarship to support the college’s student veteran population. As a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, Cleghorn served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan before enrolling at PCC and ultimately receiving bachelor’s and master’s degrees from East Carolina University. The first scholarships will be awarded during the 2021 Summer Semester.
