PCC Trustees Honor Several Current and Former Members

WINTERVILLE—During their regularly-scheduled meeting Tuesday afternoon, Pitt Community College Trustees paid tribute to former board members Kathy Frazier, Peter Kragel and Tyree Walker for their many years of service on the college’s governing board.

Frazier, a retired Pitt County Schools educator, joined the board in 2010 and served 13 years as a PCC Trustee. Her most recent term expired June 30.

Kragel, a retired doctor/professor with East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, served as a trustee from 2004 to 2023 and is a former board chairman.

Walker served on the PCC Board of Trustees from 2007 to 2023. He is a retired ECU Health administrator.

Trustees also took a moment during the meeting to thank current board member Gary Evans for his dedicated service, including multiple terms as chairman.
