WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College administrators have announced the addition of more than a dozen late-start classes to the 2019 Fall Semester schedule that can help students stay on track toward program completion.

The five-week courses, which will be offered online between Nov. 6 and Dec. 13, cover a variety topics, including computers, business law, public speaking, English, health, music and math. By offering them online, students have greater flexibility in completing them.

Many of the classes are part of North Carolina’s Comprehensive Articulation Agreement regarding college transfer.

“These classes are a good opportunity for students who have already experienced success in online learning,” said PCC Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs Lori Preast. “There is still time to accelerate your future this fall.”

Preast noted that in order to register for the courses, students must demonstrate they have been successful in a previous online course. She added that students are only permitted to register for two of the courses being offered, unless they add “College Transfer Success” (ACA 122), since it is only one credit hour.

New students interested in taking late-start classes next month are asked to contact Preast at (252) 493-7700 or lpreast@email.pittcc.edu. Click HERE for more details on five-week classes being offered this fall.
