PCC Schedules In-Person Registration Events in August
WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College has scheduled registration events next month to give students opportunities to meet with academic advisors in person to enroll in fall classes.
PCC Director of Recruiting and First-Year Experience John Carrere says holding in-person registration gives students freedom to create class schedules that meet their availability and degree completion needs.
“These events are open to all students—new and returning—who want to speak with advisors one-on-one to determine their course schedules,” Carrere said. “Current students are also welcome to create their fall schedules online and submit them for approval virtually. If they have advising questions, they can send them to firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.”
Carrere says in-person registration will take place Aug. 9-11 in the Craig F. Goess Student Center’s Davenport Multipurpose Room, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. In addition to student success advisors working with students on course scheduling, he says staff from the PCC Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid Department and Cashier’s Office will be available in the Goess Student Center to assist with registration.
A final in-person registration is scheduled for Aug. 17, the day before fall classes begin. Carrere says the program will take place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Davenport Multipurpose Room to ensure all students, new and returning, have the opportunity to enroll in 16-week courses.
