The Vernon E. White Building on PCC’s main campus has been mostly silent since March, when the coronavirus outbreak caused administrators to shift classes to the internet and ask most employees to begin teleworking from home. The continued threat from the pandemic means more distance education and social distancing are in order for the fall semester, which gets underway Aug. 17.
