WINTERVILLE—The Pitt Community College Foundation will pay tribute to President G. Dennis Massey this spring with a scholarship fundraiser at Rock Springs Center on May 18.

“The President’s Scholarship Gala” will honor Massey’s 15 years of service with PCC before he retires this summer at the conclusion of the current academic year.

“’The President’s Scholarship Gala’ will be a great celebration for friends of the college to share special tributes in recognition of President Dennis Massey’s outstanding accomplishments,” said Susan Nobles, PCC Vice President of Institutional Advancement. “It will also be a wonderful opportunity for those in attendance to make contributions to the PCC Foundation’s scholarship program and meet 25 PCC students currently receiving scholarships due to the generosity of our donors.”

In addition to dinner and dancing, the gala, which runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and is sponsored by Southern Bank, will feature a silent auction and live music by the Emerald City Big Band.

Tickets are $100 per person or $1,250 for a table of 10 that includes event sponsorship recognition. They may be purchased online by clicking “Shop Now” on the college’s website.
