Payment Deadline Nearing for 2018 Fall Semester

WINTERVILLE—The Pitt Community College Registrar’s Office is reminding students that the payment deadline for fall semester is fast-approaching.
Originally set for Aug. 6, the deadline was pushed back to Aug. 9 in response to news that the federal government’s student aid website will undergo scheduled maintenance between today and 8 a.m. Monday.
PCC Vice President of Student Development Services Johnny Smith said the deadline was delayed “in order to better accommodate student entry.” He added that the PCC Financial Aid Office has made special arrangements to assist students during the website outage.
Yesterday, PCC Registrar Angela Cline said students who have already signed up for fall classes must pay for their tuition and fees by Aug. 9 at 5 p.m., in order to keep their current schedules. She said students can pay in person at the Cashier’s Office inside the Craig F. Goess Student Center or online by logging into their myPittCC accounts and clicking on the “PCC Services” tab.
Students also have the option of paying for tuition and fees through an installment plan provided through Nelnet Business Solutions. Those interested can sign up by logging into their myPittCC accounts and looking for “Payment Plans” on their financial information page.
Fall classes at PCC begin Aug. 16.
