New Group of Delayed Start Classes Added

WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College administrators have announced the addition of more than a dozen delayed-start classes to the 2018 Fall Semester schedule that can help students stay on track toward program completion.
The five-week courses, which will be offered online between Nov. 7 and Dec. 14, range in topic from computers, business and public speaking to English, health, music and math. By offering them online, students have greater flexibility in completing them.
Many of the classes are part of North Carolina’s Comprehensive Articulation Agreement regarding college transfer.
“These classes are a good opportunity for students who have already experienced success in online learning,” said PCC Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs Lori Preast. “There is still time to accelerate your future this fall.”
New students interested in taking delayed-start classes are asked to contact Preast by calling (252) 493-7700 or emailing lpreast@email.pittcc.edu.
