How to Log In to myPittCC

Login Instructions

Step 1: Find Your Seven-Digit ID Number

Your ID number can be found on your PCC ID card or specific official mailings from the school.  If you do not have access to any of those items:

  • Students must contact the Registrar’s Office in the Goess Student Center or call them at 252-493-7232.
  • Employees must contact Human Resources in the Vernon White Building, Room 11, or call them at 252-493-7289 or contact their supervisor.

NOTE: For security reasons, Technical Support cannot give you your seven-digit PCC I.D. number.

Step 2: Log in to myPittCC

Username

It’s your first initial, middle initial, full last name, and last three digits of your seven-digit PCC I.D. number with NO spaces or capital letters followed by @my.pittcc.edu.

Example: John Michael Doe, whose seven-digit PCC I.D. number is 0098765, would have a username of jmdoe765@my.pittcc.edu.

Password

Starting January 29th, new passwords must be at least fourteen characters long to comply with our current Password Policy.  After your first sign in, you will be prompted change your password when you log in, it must contain 14 characters and 3 of the following (Upper Case, Lower Case, Number, Special Character)

Your default password will be set to include (in order) your birthday (six-digit format), uppercase first name initial, lowercase last name initial, and your seven-digit ID number.

Example: John Doe, whose birthday is January 3, 1980, and has a seven-digit PCC I.D. number of 0098765, would have a password of 010380Jd0098765.

Exceptions:

If you have no middle initial or you believe it may not have been recorded when you applied, leave it out of the instructions above for username and password.

If you have changed your password at some point, and have set up your challenge questions in the past, then you can attempt to use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page.

NOTE: You must have set up security questions via the “Manage Account” link at some point in the past when you knew your password in order to be able to use the “Forgot Password” option, so make sure you do that as soon as possible.
