WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College music students and instructors have organized a dinner theater fundraiser this month to generate revenue for music department activities.

On Oct. 27 and 28, the group will perform “Dinner at Eight, Dead by Nine,” a comedy murder mystery written by American playwright Michael Druce. Jefferson’s Florist and Wilkerson’s Funeral Home are sponsoring the shows, which are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. inside PCC’s Eddie & Jo Allison Smith Center for Student Advancement.

Tickets are $25 per person (a $15-tax deduction), which includes the performance and a meal catered by Bethel’s La Casetta Italian Restaurant. There will also be musical performances by PCC music faculty and students.

Contact PCC Music and Drama Coordinator R. Michael Stephenson at (252) 493-7493 or remstephenson701@my.pittcc.edu for additional details or to purchase tickets.
