WINTERVILLE—Current Pitt Community College students interested in joining a PCC health sciences program* this fall will have a couple of golden opportunities to apply for admission this month.

The PCC Health Sciences Division has scheduled another round of “Health Science Application Days” that will take place Jan. 26 in the Raymond Reddrick Building (Room 228) and Jan. 30 in the Walter and Marie Williams Building (Room 135). Both programs are scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and no appointment is necessary. A total of 11 programs will be featured: Associate Degree Nursing, Cardiovascular Sonography, Dental Assisting, Emergency Medical Science, Health Information Technology, Medical Assisting, Medical Sonography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Polysomnography, Radiography and Respiratory Therapy.

Advisors and admissions staff will be on hand to verify students have met program prerequisites and assist them with the application process. Students are asked to have their PCC ID numbers readily available, so college personnel can easily access and evaluate their transcripts.

Students unable to attend this month’s events may request a health sciences application for the programs of their choice by emailing hltscadm@email.pittcc.edu.
