The PCC Financial Aid Office has scheduled “FAFSA Day” in an effort to answer financial aid questions and help current and incoming students file Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms.
This event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the Craig F. Goess Student Center (Room 178). Throughout the program, PCC counselors will be providing assistance to students wanting to apply for federal financial aid for the 2019-20 academic year.
In order to complete a FAFSA, students must know their social security number (or Alien Registration Number for non-U.S. citizens) and bring their 2017 federal income tax return, W-2 and other records of untaxed income with them.
If applicable, students must also bring bank statements and records of investments. Dependent students will need to bring most of the required FAFSA information for their parents, too.
Before arriving to a “FAFSA Monday” program, students must create a Federal Student Aid ID at www.FSAID.ed.gov. The ID gives students access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems and can serve as a legal signature.
