PCC students, it is time for TASC’s annual study party – Exam Jam!

Exam Jam is a fun and FREE event where PCC students can connect with TASC tutors to get help on final exams, projects, and papers. This two-day event is open to all PCC students and will take place on Wednesday, April 26th, and Thursday, April 27th. No registration is required, and students can drop by to consult with a tutor or work in the upstairs computer lab. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to enjoy a self-care room experience!

As a treat, the first 50 students who arrive will receive a free Chick-Fil-A sandwich. All students who attend Exam Jam will receive FREE GIVEAWAYS!

Day 1 – Wednesday, April 26th

Everett Building (CWE) Second Floor

Day 1 of Exam Jam will be held in person on the 2nd floor of the library (Everett building) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26th.

Academic Skills Lab

The Academic Skills Lab is an open computer lab located in T-19 behind the Everett building, and it will also be open to assist students during Exam Jam.

Hours of Operation for in Person

  • Monday – Thursday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Friday, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Academic Skills Building

Pitt Community College students that graduated high school in 2020-2023 are eligible to participate in individualized academic success skills planning sessions. Meet one-on-one to discuss establishing or improving academic habits and study skills. Set personalized goals that will help you achieve your definition of success!

NEW! Self-Care Room Experience

For 15-minute increments, individuals can spend time in the Self Care Room alone and take a pause to unwind. Soft music will be playing in the background (or silence if you prefer). Activities include adult coloring books, sketch pads, coloring pencils, a yoga mat, sudoku, puzzles, etc. You may even take 15 minutes to do absolutely nothing if you’d like! Feel free to bring your favorite plush blanket. To remain safe and sanitary, all items will be sanitized between individual visits.

If you would like to participate, please select a time slot to sign up and enjoy this relaxing experience! RSVP is required, this will secure your spot and help us prepare. Spots are limited! The Self-Care Room is located in the Walter & Marie Williams Building (WMW), Room 235.
