Deadline: Registration typically closes one week before a session begins.
Payment: Required in full at the time of registration.
Fees: $99.55/week for each camper.
Refund Policy: Fees are non-refundable unless the College cancels the camp.
KinderCamp Success Guide
To ensure a safe and fun experience for our little explorers, please review these daily requirements:
Safety & Check-In
- Parking: Please park in spaces that are NOT marked staff/faculty or handicap (unless it applies) as you are dropping off and picking up campers.
- Sign-In/Out: For your child’s safety, an authorized adult must walk the camper to and from the classroom and sign them in/out daily.
- Sun Protection: Please apply sunscreen or lip balm before arrival; our staff will not be able to re-apply these during the day.
- On-Site Vending: Vending machines are available on the first floor, located to the right of the main entrance for your convenience.
- Authorized Pick-Up: You must provide the names of all adults authorized to pick up your child.
What to Pack Each Day
Please send your child with the following items, all clearly labeled with their name:
- Backpack or Tote: For carrying their treasures and gear.
- Refillable Water Bottle: To stay hydrated during play.
- Daily Snack: A healthy snack to keep their energy up.
- Spare Clothes: A full change of clothing (including underwear or pull-ups).
- Potty-Training & Supplies: Potty-trained campers are preferred; however, if your child uses pull-ups, please provide them along with a pack of baby wipes each day.
- Optional: A hat, visor, or light jacket for outdoor/classroom comfort.
Policies & Fine Print
Cancellations & Changes PCC reserves the right to cancel any camp due to low enrollment or to update instructors. If a camp is canceled, you will be notified promptly and a full refund will be issued.
Media Release Camp staff may take photos or videos for promotional use. If you prefer your child’s likeness not be used in PCC social media or marketing, please email Lisa Webb at lawebb292@my.pittcc.edu.
Admission
All camps are open on a first-come, first-served basis; camp sizes are limited. Call 252-493-7317 for availability.
Fees
Registration fees vary for each camp and are NON-REFUNDABLE unless canceled by the College.

Registration Procedures
1. Complete the STEAM: KinderCamps Registration Form in its entirety. A separate form must be completed for each child attending. Make check(s) payable to Pitt Community College.

3. Complete additional paperwork required at the time of payment.
Insurance
Student Accident Insurance is included in camp registration fee.
Canceled Camps and Changes
Due to limited enrollment, Pitt Community College reserves the right to cancel any camp before the first meeting. In such a case, you will be notified, and your fee will be refunded. We also reserve the right to change instructors.
Lunch
Campers must provide their own meals. Campers may not leave campus for lunch unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Lunch can be eaten in between camps on campus.
Breaks
There will be a scheduled break time for each camp. During this time, campers may eat snacks brought from home or purchased from campus drink and snack machines. If your child wants to purchase snacks, you must provide the correct change. STEAM Camp is not responsible for money lost in machines.
Transportation
The parent or guardian is responsible for transportation to and from camps, regardless of camp location. The camper is expected to arrive 15-20 minutes before the camp start time. All campers should be picked up promptly when camp is over.
Pictures and Video
During camps, pictures and videos may be taken by camp staff. If you do not wish for your child’s pictures or videos to be used in future promotional materials or posted on our PCC STEAM Camp Facebook page, please email Lisa Webb at lawebb292@my.pittcc.edu.
