Real Estate Pre-Licensing

This course is required to satisfy the educational requirements for a provisional broker and is designed to prepare you to pass the real estate license examination administered by the NC Real Estate Commission. Topics include basic real estate principles and practices, law and contracts, financing, closing valuation, fair housing and real estate laws. Instructor: Jim Weese. 80 hours. Cost $185

This 4 hour mandatory course is required by all Brokers-in-Charge in order to maintain your eligibility each license year. Instructor: Jim Weese. 4 hours. Cost: $45

Real Estate Post Licensing NC Laws, Rules, & Legal Concepts

One of the 3 mandatory post licensing courses that must be completed by newly licensed NC provisional brokers within 3 years after licensure. Topics addressed in this course include commercial real estate brokerage, residential property management, land use controls, loan fraud, brokerage compensation issues, license law issues and case studies, selected fair housing issues and case studies, establishinga brokerage firm, manufactured and modular homes, and issues relating to short sales. 30 hours. Cost $185

Real Estate Post Licensing Broker Relationships and Responsibilities

One of the 3 mandatory post licensing courses that must be completed by newly licensed NC provisional brokers within 3 years after licensure. Topics addressed in this course include a review of agency relationships in real estate sales transactions and a real estate broker’s legal duties to clients and customers, a step-by-step review and discussion of the functions and responsibilities of a real estate broker when working with residential sellers and buyers, a review of issues associated with transactions in progress when a broker leaves a firm, and a review of license status and education issues. 30 hours.
