Pitt Community College offers a variety of law enforcement continuing education courses and is committed to providing courses which are valuable in maintaining the proficiency of law enforcement officers, detention officers, and other public safety personnel.
Classes are organized based upon demonstration of sufficient interest and availability of required facilities and qualified instructors.
Funding measures require a minimum of ten (10) students for most classes; specialty courses often require greater participation and may carry additional fees.
Out of professional courtesy to others, if you reserve a seat for a class and are not able to attend, please email our training division at PittCCLETraining@gmail.com so that we may offer students on the waitlist an opportunity to attend.
Pitt Community College reserves the right to change, add, delete, or withdraw courses or program offerings from the schedule at any time. Our goal is to notify you and/or your agency of such changes a week in advance of the intended course start date. In the event of unusual or severe weather, the Law Enforcement Training Division will adhere to the same schedule modification as those outlined for Pitt Community College.
