The Emergency Medical Science (EMS) Bridge Program is a degree-completion pathway designed for North Carolina or Nationally Registered certified paramedics who are ready to take the next step in their professional journey.

Built on the foundation of existing paramedic education and field experience, this program offers a streamlined, efficient route to an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Emergency Medical Science. Prior learning and credentials are fully recognized, allowing students to focus on the additional academic coursework required to complete the degree—without unnecessary repetition. This pathway builds on your existing credentials, recognizing your prior education and real-world experience so you can focus on what’s needed to finish your degree. All classes are offered online.

The result is a practical, career-focused program that honors where you’ve been while preparing you for where the profession is headed.
