Course Descriptions

Notary Public

Learn the information necessary to apply for notary public commissions. Registration requires you to be able to read, write, speak English, and present a government issued photo ID. Prior to being appointed, first-time candidates must successfully complete this course as one of the state requirements. A textbook is required and must be purchased at the PCC Bookstore prior to class. Instructor: Linda Mathis. 8 hours. Cost: $75 + required book ($26.22)

Electronic Notary (E-Notary)

Learn the information necessary to become commissioned as an electronic notary. Topics include procedural, legal, and ethical requirements. Prior to being appointed, first-time candidates must successfully complete this course as one of the state requirements. Registration requires you to hold a valid commission as a notary public in North Carolina and present a government issues photo ID. You are required to pass an exam to complete the class requirements. A textbook is required and must be purchased at the PCC Bookstore prior to class. Instructor: Linda Mathis. 6 hours. Cost: $75.
