The National Career Readiness Certificate is a portable, nationally recognized credential that can help individuals get the job they want. Based on the proven ACT WorkKeys® system the NCRC gives job seekers proof of their workplace skills. WorkKeys, a system of real world workplace assessments can act both as a tool to increase an individual’s employability skills and give employers the tools necessary to plan, screen, select, train and promote the appropriate candidates. Test results can be beneficial information for many groups and organizations such as Public School Systems, local and federal government, employers, and economic strategists. Individuals who successfully complete the three WorkKeys Assessments—Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents—earn the WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate® (WorkKeysNCRC®), a valuable credential for students and job seekers seeking to verify foundational workplace skills. ACT WorkKeys also offers additional assessments to measure interests, values, and behaviors that can lead to greater job satisfaction.
Pay the testing fee of $45. You may pay by credit/debit card over the phone by calling 252-493-7234 without coming to campus. To pay in cash, visit the Craig F. Goess Student Center, Room 101. You must show Photo ID on the day of testing.
Testing location: Pitt Community College-Farmville Center, Field Street Entrance.
DIRECTIONS: If you’re coming from Greenville on West Marlboro Road, look for the first traffic light after the Pizza Hut on your left. Turn right onto South Field Street. You’ll see the building on your left with a sign that says Pitt Community College.
Once you have what you need from customer service follow the steps below.
Step 1: Go to MyWorkKeys.com.
Step 2: Log in with your User ID and Password.
Step 3: You will be prompted to validate your information. Fill in any required fields.
Step 4: In your account, select Certificate Management to view your certificate.
Step 5: View, print and share your test scores. ACT will not share your information without your authorization. To make your test scores public to employers, select Share Test Score.
Step 6: View, print and share your certificate. ACT will not share your information without your authorization. To make your certificate public to employers, select Share Certificate.
