We also instill business and life skills so that you will be prepared for all aspects of the work force. Download a printable flyer.

Barber School Registration

We are currently accepting new students!

Admission Requirements

The enrollment process for Barber School requires several steps due to state requirements. We recommend you allow several weeks to complete, prior to the first day of class.

Students interested in joining the Barber School should complete registration information online for the Barber School Interest/Wait List using the PCC Continuing Education online registration process.  Payment of tuition ($185.55) for a three-month session/semester of the Barber School will be required to be paid at this time utilizing a debit or credit card.  Completion of this information will allow staff to contact potential students via email to discuss how prerequisite requirements can be fulfilled for this program (placement tests, etc.).

Once staff have verified that all prerequisites are met, students will be informed that their registration is complete and that they have been admitted to the program and registered to a specific class – Beginning or Clinical.  Any students who do not meet the entrance qualifications or complete the required prerequisites in a timely manner for the Barber School will receive a full refund. There is limited capacity for this program; registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.  If you have questions regarding the program, please contact Wendy Dunbar at 252-493-7528 or wdunbar@email.pittcc.edu.

Costs

Tuition payments of $185.55 are due at the time of registration. You can pay by check, money order, or credit/debit card. We DO NOT accept cash. A money order made out to the NC Barber School for $25 is due at the time of registration. This is the permit for allowing your barber hours to be reported. No permit – No hours!
