Online Tutoring

As of March 23, 2020, TASC has shifted tutoring appointments to online. We are no longer offering walk-in hours, and students are strongly discouraged from dropping by T-19, T-21 or Williams 130. We are trying to limit the number of people in our centers to stop the spread of COVID-19.

What is Online Tutoring?

Online tutoring allows TASC tutors to work with PCC students using video conferencing. To receiving online tutoring, students need:

  • access to a device with a webcam, such as a smartphone, tablet or desktop computer
  • access to reliable internet service

After students make an appointment, their tutor will send them an email with a link to an online chatroom and directions on how to use the service. The online video conference service allows tutors and students the ability to video chat, have access to a virtual whiteboard and to share their screens.
