Aspects of your career choice that are important to you and your satisfaction are called work values. Your values help shape how you view yourself and the world around you. It is an important factor that can help determine career decisions and career satisfaction.

Career Development Inventories
Career Development has been used to describe the process by which individuals make career choices appropriate to their age and stage of development. Career development is very important and sometimes difficult with adolescents. Adolescents have to make tough decisions as they transition to college life and it may be difficult for them to integrate their interests, skills, and abilities into career goals.
