Computer Lab
Pitt Community College, including the Computer Lab, is closed to the public until further notice. Please continue to check the website for updates.
The Goess Student Center Computer Lab is open to students during normal administrative hours. The lab is located in the back portion of the Craig F. Goess Student Center, in Room 178.
The Computer Lab includes:
- 42 computers
- printing capabilities through PCC’s Pharos printing system
- support by Technical Assistants to help students navigate PCC’s systems
- guidance from Technical Assistants to help prospective students apply to PCC
- a document scanner (scan to desktop and print and/or save to a flash drive)
Students will need their myPittCC username and password to gain access through the active directory system.
A frequent question Technical Assistants receive from both current and prospective students is what Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is. Satisfactory Academic Progress is an important standard to learn as it impacts a student’s ability to receive financial assistance from federal or state administered programs. Please view this short video to learn about SAP.
