Author to Discuss Book at PCC as Part of WHM

Author Etaf Rum will discuss her book, "A Woman is No Man" at Pitt on March 31 as part of the college's observance of Women's History Month.

WINTERVILLE—Author Etaf Rum will speak at Pitt Community College later this month, as part of the college’s observance of Women’s History Month.

Rum, a New York native now living in Rocky Mount, is scheduled to appear at Pitt on March 31 to discuss her debut novel, “A Woman is No Man,” which was published in 2019. The book is a New York Times bestseller that delves into the complexities of life for Arab American women.

Rum’s presentation, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Craig F. Goess Student Center’s Davenport Multipurpose Room.
