Adult One-Stop Day Set for May 4

WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College will hold a special event May 4 for adult learners who want to take classes during the summer semester, which begins May 20.
According to PCC Recruitment and Orientation Specialist John Carrere, Adult One-Stop Day will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 120 of the Goess Student Center. The program, he said, offers adult learners a chance to complete multiple admission requirements – including placement testing, applying for financial aid, and New Student Orientation – in a single day.
“It’s aptly named ‘Adult One-Stop Day,’ because they can get it all done in one stop at the college …,” Carrere said. “We understand adult learners have really hectic schedules.”
Carrere noted that prospective students interested in completing an associate degree through evening and weekend courses are particularly encouraged to attend.
