Late Start Courses
Pitt Community College has a variety of Late Start courses & course sections with seats available. Click on the button below to determine availability.
Current students may register from an approved SEP or contact their Success Advisor/Faculty Advisor. If a student would like to add a Late Start course, they may do so up until the day before the course is scheduled to start. For questions about late-start courses, please email latestart@email.pittcc.edu.

How to Search for Late Start Courses & Course Sections in the Online Catalog
- Click the button below.
- Select the “Advanced Search” tab, which is located to the right of the “Subject Search” tab.
- DO NOT SELECT THE TERM. Using the table above, copy and paste the “Meeting Start Date” and the “Meeting End Date” of the session into the corresponding fields of the search form.
- Click the “Search” button at the bottom of the catalog page to see what specific course sections are available.

- 14-Week courses begin 1/23/2023 and end 5/8/2023
- 12-Week courses begin 2/6/2023 and ends 5/8/2023
- 8-Week courses begin 3/6/2023 and end 5/8/2023
- 5-Week courses begin April 3rd – Students interested in registering must email latestart@email.pittcc.edu or call Brian Jones (252-493-7867) or John Carrere (252-493-7380).
New students interested in 5-Week Late Start Courses are asked to complete and submit the PCC Admissions Application and submit official high school and college transcripts, which can be faxed to 252-321-4209 or mailed to:
