Late Start Classes

Fall 2020 Late Start Course offerings are now available.

Pitt Community College has a variety of late/delayed start class options available. Click on the list below to see what is available.

Fall 2020 Late Start Classes List

Seats are still available for individuals interested in taking late-start fall classes. Below are the start dates for class options:

  • Eight-week classes begin October 13
  • Five-week classes begin November 5 – NOTE: Students who would like more information or registration assistance for five-week classes, please contact Lori Preast at (252) 493-7700 or Susan Whitehurst at (252) 493-7224. View available five-week classes.

New students interested in late start classes are asked to contact the PCC Student Hotline at (252) 493-7245, Monday through Thursday, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., and Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Current students may register from an approved SEP or contact their Success Advisor/Faculty Advisor.

If a student would like to add a late/delayed start class, they may do so up until the day before the class is scheduled to start.

Steps to Locate Late Start Classes

First, click “Search for Classes Now” in blue at the bottom of this page.

Second, Click on the “Advanced Search” tab which is located to the right of “Subject Search” tab.

Third, DO NOT SELECT THE TERM. Just enter the “Meeting Start Date” and the “Meeting End Date” of the session in order to see what specific sections are available.

When you have entered your desired course session information, click “Search” at the bottom of the page.


  1. Prior to registering for a PCC course, students must complete a Pitt Community College Undergraduate Application.
  2. Students must also fax a copy of their official transcript(s) to (252) 321-4209 or mail an official copy to:
