ACCUPLACER (Next-Gen) Testing

Students enrolling in a Nursing Aide or Phlebotomy program are required to take the ACCUPLACER Reading Comprehension and Arithmetic exams. The ACCUPLACER placement tests are untimed, computerized, multiple-choice exams.

Score Requirements

Reading Comprehension

Nursing Assistant I and II and Phlebotomy students are required to score 233+ on the ACCUPLACER NEXT-GENERATION Reading Comprehension test in order to meet reading requirements for Nursing Assistant and/or Phlebotomy.

Arithmetic

Nursing Assistant and Phlebotomy students are required to score 230+ on the ACCUPLACER NEXT-GENERATION Arithmetic.

ACCUPLACER Online Course & Practice Tests

In partnership with Longsdale Publishing, the PCC Testing Center provides students direct access to study materials and practice tests for:

• Arithmetic
• Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics (QAS)
• Advanced Algebra and Functions (AAF)
• Reading
• Writing
• Written Essay

How to Access These Materials

1. Go to the ACCUPLACER Online Course & Practice Tests registration page.
2. Click on the “Register NEW Account” button. You will need to register using the following information: School Number – 67737, School Key – collegesuccess
3. Enter your first name, last name, and email address (ID Number is optional).
4. Once registered, save your assigned username and password to log in.
5. Start with the “Introduction to the ACCUPLACER” section for an overview of the material, or navigate directly to the specific subjects you need to review.
