Starting the journey in to higher education can sometimes be a challenge. We are delighted to assist you with any questions you may have about gaining admission, securing financial aid, and getting connected for enrollment.
Important: Please Read Before Applying for Admission
All applicants (with the exception of Career and College Promise applicants) must complete a Residency Determination request to determine your tuition status (in state or out of state) prior to completing and submitting an Admissions application. Documentation may be required during this process. Take a moment to watch this video to learn about the Residency Determination process:
Here is a list of information that may be required to submit your Residency Determination. Please have this information on hand prior to your starting this process.
Note: If you’ve already completed the NC Residency Application and have a Residency Certification Number (RCN), go the Step 2. If you’ve forgotten your RCN, please visit the RDS website and log into your account.
Complete your NC Residency Determination forms!
This MUST be done first, because you’ll need the Residency Certification Number you get when you complete this step. Click below to visit the NC RDS website and fill out the forms. And remember – write down your Residency Certification Number when they assign it!
Fill out your Pitt Community College application!
Do you have your Residency Certification Number? Good – you’re ready for step two. Click below to visit the CFNC website and complete the application.
Note to all new applicants:
All new applicants seeking a degree at Pitt Community College must choose an academic degree, certification, or diploma on our application. If you are unsure of the most appropriate one for you, please click here to view information on all PCC options. (If you are a “visiting student”, select Special Credit on the application and be aware that you are NOT eligible for financial aid.)
NOTE: If you have applied to PCC within the past 12 months, you do NOT need to reapply. Simply contact your academic advisor to register.
