Adult Learning Center

Mission Statement

The Adult Learning Center at Pitt Community College is committed to providing equitable support to educate and empower adult students while they transition back to school from admissions through graduation and into the workforce.

PCC created the Adult Learning Center (ALC) to help adult learners navigate through their college journey. The ALC provides individualized coaching, peer support, and programs to support our adult learners academically and financially. When you are ready to start your journey, our Adult Learning Center Assistants are here to guide you through the entire admissions process.

Whether you want to finish your degree, make a career change, or learn a new skill, PCC can help you choose the path that works best for you with our degree programs and various continuing education options.

PCC Complete

We understand that life can get in the way of completing your academic and professional goals. Finishing your credential takes hard work, and with part of your journey already complete, you are invited to pick up where you left off.

When you return to PCC, you can expect a smooth transition back to your degree, certificate, or diploma with a quick application process for readmission, assistance in securing financial aid, and academic support.
