Career Academy is a program of career exploration, career development, and academic instruction designed for students with learning difficulties and challenges. Students are encouraged to identify employment and job attainment goals upon enrollment. The class provides students opportunity to explore and develop job skills, career choices, academics in career contexts, and goals and objectives for job attainment. The two-year program of study has been developed in partnership with Pitt County Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Orientation/Assessment typically occurs once per year the Friday following 4th of July holiday from 9:00am-12:00pm. Please inform orientation/intake staff of legal guardianship circumstances upon registration.
