The Associate Degree Nursing Program is approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) and accredited by the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN-CNEA).

The Pitt Community College Associate Degree in Nursing Program holds continuing accreditation from the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA), located at 2600 Virginia Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20037. 202-909-2487.

While national accreditation is not required in North Carolina until 2032, it remains a marker of program excellence. Notably, PCC’s first-time pass rate was 99% in 2024. That display of excellence toward program outcomes continued in 2025 with a first-time NCLEX pass rate of 97%. The program remains committed to maintain high standards consistent with those of the North Carolina Board of Nursing and the NLN.
