Pirate Promise

Pirate Promise is an exciting new program offered by ECU to community college students. This is how the program works and what the benefits are for PCC students:

  • Students complete ECU‘s application and PCC’s application at the same time (no fees)
  • Currently enrolled PCC students are also eligible to apply.
  • Students are guaranteed acceptance into ECU upon the completion of the AA/AS/AE degree (students must fulfill ECU admission requirements)  
  • Students are eligible to receive an ECU 1 Card.
  • Students will have access to the ECU library.
  • Students can attend events on ECU campus — including “invitation only” events.
  • Students can apply for RaiseMe micro-scholarships.
  • Students will have joint academic advising and financial aid counseling.

Eligibility for the program:

  • Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA
  • Students must maintain full time status
  • Students must complete the AA, AS, AE, AAS in Early Childhood Education, or AFA
