Wolfpack Connect
Effective October 13th, 2025, Pitt Community College and NC State University began a Guaranteed Admissions Program, which provides a seamless transfer pathway for PCC students. The joint mission of both of these institutions is to strengthen the transfer pipeline.
Eligibility for the Program
- Begin the program at less than 30 transferable credit hours and remain active
- Complete an AA/AS degree
- Maintain a 3.0 average
- 30 credit hours in the intended major must be a C or better
- Satisfy and pre-requisites and technical standards for the major
- Enroll in UNC State major within four years of beginning the program
Benefits of the Program
- Participants have access to the NC State Transfer planner tool and their progress toward their major will be tracked
- NC State will monitor progress in the program and assist in meeting all requirements
- Transfer application advising sessions will be offered
- Application fee will be waived
- A designated point of contact for advising will be accessible
- Ability to concurrently enroll and take up to 2 UNC State courses per term
