The Arts & Sciences Division is home to the Student Success Center (SSC), which is located in the Reddrick Building, Room 228. The Success Center is open year-round and is designed to focus on continuing students in the University Transfer (UT) and Associate in General Education (AGE) Pre-Health Science programs.
Continuing students should first contact their individual advisor for assistance. They may check the Advisor List to verify their assigned advisor and get the phone number. If they are unable to do establish contact with the advisor, students may visit the SSC.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, much of the advising through the SSC currently takes place online.
New students in University Transfer and AGE Pre-Health Science are assigned to a Student Success Advisor. Continuing students transition to a faculty advisor. Students should contact their individual advisor for an advising appointment. If an individual advisor is in class or unavailable, continuing students are welcome to visit the SSC on a walk-in basis.
Please have your PCC student identification number ready when visiting or contacting the SSC.
The Student Success Center also assists University Transfer students with their exploration of four-year transfer institutions by hosting Transfer Admissions representatives from North Carolina universities. These visits currently take place in a virtual format due to the pandemic.
To access updates and live links to scheduled events, consult the SSC Calendar.
Every effort is made to keep students informed of university representative visits. You can find scheduled dates on the global PCC calendar when signed into the student portal; however, changes do occur, some visits are rescheduled and new dates are added periodically. If you would like to be contacted by email with reminders of upcoming events, please complete the interest form below.
