Student Success Center (SSC)

The Arts & Sciences Division is home to the Student Success Center (SSC), which is located in the Reddrick Building Room 228. The Success Center is open year-round and is designed to focus on continuing students in the University Transfer (UT) and Associate in General Education (AGE) Pre-Health Science programs.

Continuing students should first contact their individual advisor for assistance. They may check the Advisor List to verify their assigned advisor and get the phone number. If they are unable to do establish contact with the advisor, students may visit the SSC.

Virtual Advising

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, advising through the SSC currently takes place online.

Hours:
Monday through Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

PLEASE NOTE:  The SSC will be closed for all PCC observed holidays and faculty/student breaks.

AGE students, those who are preparing for a Health Science program at PCC or another community college, may email an AGE advisor at pccage@my.pittcc.edu. For more immediate assistance, sign in to your myPittCC email and use Google Hangouts, Chat, or Meet with the same email address.

University Transfer students (Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in Engineering) may email an AGE advisor at pccut@my.pittcc.edu. For more immediate assistance, sign in to your myPittCC email and use Google Hangouts, Chat, or Meet with same email address.

Additional Information:

New students in University Transfer and AGE Pre-Health Science are assigned to a Student Success Advisor. Continuing students transition to a faculty advisor. Students.  should contact their individual advisor for an advising appointment. If an individual advisor is in class or unavailable, continuing students are welcome to visit the SSC on a walk-in basis.

Please bring your PCC student identification number when visiting or contacting the SSC.
