Connect to PCC_Wifi

  • Visit your network settings.
  • From the list of available networks, choose PCC_Wifi.
  • When prompted, enter PCC for the username and student for the password, click submit.
  • Read and agree to the network acceptable use agreement.
  • You’re now connected!

    Please be ready to provide your full myPittcc student ID number, your phone number, and a description of your issue to our technicians.

    The Office of Information Technology and Services (OITS) was created in 1997 as a result of several campus quality improvement teams. It provides a broad range of technology-related educational support services. This division includes the following areas:

    • Administrative Computing Services
    • Computer Support Services
    • Infrastructure Services
    • Technical Support Help Desk
    •  Information Systems Services

    Our mission is to provide quality technology-based services and support in a customer-oriented, cost-effective manner that facilitates the college’s mission.  To accomplish this, OITS works collaboratively with the campus community to provide technological leadership emphasizing empowerment of the individual through the use of technology.

    PCC Information Technology Policies

    The following policies apply to students and employees: Acceptable Use Policy, Systems Hardware and Electronic Media Disposal Policy, Email Policy, Internet Policy, Network Security and VPN Policy, and Text Messaging Policy.

    FAQ’s

    If you forget your myPittCC password or need to reset it, visit our myPittCC Password Reset page for instructions.

    NOTE: Password Expiration

    If you haven’t changed your myPittCC password in 360 days, you will receive a notification prompting you to update it. Starting 7-10 days before expiration, you’ll see a message stating, “Your password will expire in 7 days.” Once expired, you’ll be automatically prompted to reset your password.

    Tip: Regularly updating your password helps protect your account from unauthorized access.

    Your myPittCC password must follow these rules:

    • Be at least 14 characters long
    • Not contain your account name or more than two consecutive characters of your full name
    • Include characters from three of the following categories:
      • Uppercase letters (A-Z)
      • Lowercase letters (a-z)
      • Numbers (0-9)
      • Non-alphabetic characters, such as @  #  %  : –  !  &  {  }  ~  ”  `  ‘  <  >  +  =  [  ]  *  $

    Tip: It’s good to practice to apply these rules to all password for optimal security.
