Pitt Community College Foundation
The Pitt Community College Foundation develops partnerships and secures resources to support the mission of Pitt Community College and the success of its students.
PCC Foundation History
The Pitt Community College Foundation, Inc. was created in April 1973 to receive gifts of cash, securities, deferred gifts, property, equipment and materials. These gifts are used to provide funds for scholarships, educational activities, and educational materials that can assist the students and/or enhance the services of Pitt Community College. Many students have received scholarships and/or special educational assistance funds from the Pitt Community College Foundation.
During recent years, the PCC Foundation has sponsored several successful special events including the Down East Holiday Show, the Annual Spring Scholarship Auction/Accelerating the Future, and the PCC Fall Golf Classic. The PCC Foundation has also established the PCC Alumni Organization for alumni and friends of the college, supported the PCC Student Ambassadors and developed several new scholarship endowment funds.
The PCC Foundation is a non-profit organization and is governed by a Board of Directors. An Executive Director administers the daily operations of the foundation, and staff services are provided by the College’s Institutional Advancement Division.
