The high-quality education and training that we offer is more vital to our citizens than ever before. The economy presents challenges for us all, and the job market and skills needed to be competitive are constantly changing.

Pitt Community College faculty and staff adapt to these shifts by developing new programs and refining continuing ones. Our mission statement and goals support student success. This depends on active participation in academic and career planning.

Annual Goals

Strategic Goal #1

Increase the number of students enrolled in credit and non-credit courses who are 25 years of age or older.

Strategic Goal #2

Integrate select American Association of Community College (AACC) leadership competencies (such as communication and collaboration) into supervisor training workshops, leadership development programming, and other employee initiatives.
