President’s Message
Greetings, and thank you for visiting the Pitt Community College website! I’m confident that browsing the pages of this valuable resource will provide greater understanding of the programming and student support services we offer and help you discover how our dedicated faculty and staff can educate and empower you for success.
For more than 60 years, PCC has been doing its part to establish a skilled workforce that meets the needs of our community, local business and industry, and eastern North Carolina at large. Throughout that time, students have been our primary focus — and they always will be.
In the months ahead, PCC will be developing a strategic plan to guide future initiatives and setting ambitious goals reflective of our values and commitment to growth and inclusivity. In short, we’re charting a course that leads to Pitt Community College emerging as a model institution and leader across the state and compels our economic development and business community to see us as their chief source of talent acquisition, training excellence and economic mobility.

Accreditation
Pitt Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award Associate Degrees. Degree-granting institutions also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
