Tickets to MLK Scholarship Breakfast on Sale

A Robersonville native and longtime member of the N.C. Court of Appeals, Judge James A. Wynn Jr. served as a PCC Trustee from 1989 to 1993.WINTERVILLE—Tickets to the 5th Annual Martin Luther King Scholarship Tribute Breakfast at Pitt Community College are still available.

The event, which will take place Jan. 11 in the Craig F. Goess Student Center from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., will feature 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge James A. Wynn Jr. as keynote speaker.

In addition to Wynn’s remarks, the program will feature a scholarship presentation by the PCC Multicultural Activities Committee (MAC), which organizes the annual breakfast. This year’s scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Earl T. Brown, a longtime Greenville attorney who died last year in a car crash.

Tickets to the MLK Breakfast are $10 and may be purchased online by clicking the “Shop Now” icon on the PCC website (www.pittcc.edu) or by visiting the college’s Vernon E. White Building (Room 16).

Proceeds from the event will fund future MAC Scholarships at PCC.
