Orchestra Will Play Holiday Concert Dec. 10

WINTERVILLE—The Pitt Community College Symphony Orchestra (PCCSO) will present its annual Holiday Concert Dec. 10 at 7:30 pm at Reimage Church (3950 Victory Lane) in Winterville.

The concert will feature seasonal favorites that all of the family will enjoy, including “Christmas at the Movies,” “Sleigh Ride,” “Pizzicato Polka,” “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” “Nativity Carol,” “Christmas Day,” and a Christmas Sing-a-Long. A jazz combo, featuring RaSheeda Waddell, will also perform “Sweet Little Jesus Boy.”

During the performance, the orchestra will also be joined by members of the PCC Chorale, under the direction of Peggy Vaughan, and the Elements of Praise gospel choir, under the direction of Waddell.

The concert is free to the community, but donations to support to orchestra will be accepted.
