PCC Alumni Association Busy Lining Up "Islands of New England" Vacation Package

Find out more about the PCC Alumni Association's 2014 New England vacation package next month.

WINTERVILLE—The Pitt Community College Alumni Association has scheduled a pair of information sessions next month to shed more light on the “Islands of New England” discount vacation packages it plans to offer in 2014.

According to PCC Alumni Relations Director Ashley Smith, the first presentation is scheduled for Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. in the Walter and Marie Williams Dining Room, which is located in the Craig F. Goess Student Center. The second will take place on the web Oct. 29 at 6 p.m., she said, adding that registration will take place online at www.collettevacations.com.

Smith says the eight-day, seven-night vacation that the alumni association is planning next summer will take participants on a tour of Rhode Island, Newport, Boston, Cape Cod and other prominent locations that spotlight New England’s natural charm. Participants will also enjoy a ferry ride to the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard, she said.

The trip will run Aug. 22-29 and cost as little as $2,449 per person through an early booking discount that is available for a limited time. Prices include round-trip airfare, transportation to and from Raleigh/Durham International Airport, meals and hotel.

For more information, contact the PCC Alumni Association at (252) 493-7229 and attend an information session next month.
