Women in Business Conference Is March 8
PCC Small Business Center Is a Presenting Sponsor
WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College’s Small Business Center is co-sponsoring the Eastern North Carolina Women in Business 3rd Annual Conference, which will take place Thursday in the college’s Craig F. Goess Student Center.
Jim Ensor, director of PCC’s Small Business Center, says Pitt is serving as a presenting sponsor because “it helps us spread the word about the resources Pitt Community College has to offer local entrepreneurs." He added that women represent one of the fastest-growing groups of entrepreneurs in the United States today.
Tickets are still available for the four-hour conference, which is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $99 per person or $89 per person, if four or more people from the same company attend. Breakfast will be served by Rep Express.
"The networking opportunity alone is worth the investment of time and money," Ensor said.
WNCT-9 news anchor Amanda Goodman will emcee this year’s conference. Scheduled presenters are Jackie Seare (“Reinventing Yourself: Does One Size Fit All?”), Sarah Levitt (“The Making of Magnificence: Women in Transition and How to Navigate the Road Ahead”), and AlexSandra Lett (“Going Crazy...Getting Sane: Taking Risks and Embracing Reinvention”).
In addition to the PCC Small Business Center, the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce and Eyewitness News 9 are also presenting sponsors.
