Line-up Information
The Pitt Community College Spring Commencement will be held at the Williams Arena (Minges Coliseum, ECU) on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. You are invited and encouraged to participate in the Commencement exercises. All full-time faculty, staff, and administrators seated on the floor with the graduates will be asked to wear caps and gowns to add an appropriate level of dignity to this most important event.
The faculty/staff seating at graduation will flank the graduates on both sides. Therefore, the faculty/staff will process in using two evenly divided lines and two separate doors. All faculty/staff need to arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. in order to line up by academic divisions (coordinated by Division Deans and additional staff) and non-academic staff (coordinated by appointed staff). Faculty/staff will meet in the Murphy Center (Harvey Banquet Hall upstairs) located between the ECU Ticket Office and the football field to line up. Look for your division’s sign.
