PCC Abroad

Paris, Provence, and Barcelona

Cost:

For participants under the age of 30 and rooming 3-4 in a room with private bath - $3474

For participants age 30+ and rooming 2 in a room with private bath - $3744

The price includes flights; full-time tour director; land transportation; light breakfast daily and 3 local dinners; sightseeing tours in Paris, Avignon, Carcassonne, and Barcelona; and admission to Notre Dame, Louvre, Papal Palace, the amphitheater in Nimes, Pont du Gard, and Park Guell.

This study-travel program is open to PCC students, faculty, staff, and people from the community who are 18 and older at time of travel.

Service Learning Programs

Service learning is a great way to truly get to know the people of the country. You will spend part of your time participating in projects that leave an imprint on the local community. The rest of your time will be spent seeing the sites of the country. These programs are open to students enrolled in specific courses. 2014 Programs

2014 Programs

Belize

Work alongside the people of San Jose Succotz, learn about Mayan Culture, and see all Belize has to offer. Students will interact with a variety of cultural aspects in Belize including local businesses, artists, political figures, literature, music, and the archaeology of an indigenous past. This program is open to all PCC students in good standing.
Dates: March 8-18 2014
Price: Approximately $3200 (Could be less once flight arrangements have been made). This price includes airfare, housing, two meals a day, lectures, program directed excursions, and mandatory medical insurance coverage.
Course Requirements: Students participating in the trip will enroll in SOC 213. A student must receive written permission from an instructor for class credit if not enrolled in SOC 213 in the Spring 2014.
