The Little Free Library Impact Fund

Wounded Warrior Project

The Little Free Library Impact fund is an organization which promotes the importance of reading, and focuses on strengthening community ties by interaction. Money donated to the Little Free Library is spent on building more Little Free Libraries. This organization is wonderful because it provides all users an opportunity to give and receive literature and enhances community relationships.

Little Free Libraries are miniature libraries where one can pick up a book for free in exchange for any book that you bring. The LFBs are about 2 feet by 3 feet in length and width, and 2 feet high; but vary in size and shape with some being a little smaller and some being a little bigger.

One must purchase the name “Little Free Library” by registering. The cost for registration includes a Charter Sign and other benefits.

PCC’s Gamma Beta Phi will be restocking and performing maintenance on the current Little Free Libraries in the Pitt County community. We also hope to create a Little Free Library here on campus!
