Bulldogs Still Searching for First Win

SUPPLY-Four players scored in double figures for Pitt Community College Sunday but it wasnít enough to give the Bulldogs their first win of the season as they fell to Brunswick Community College, 106-87.

Tyrelle Jackson's 21 points paced PCC offensively against the Dolphins, who led 59-44 at halftime. Chucky Becton added 15 points and six rebounds for the Dawgs, and Jerrel Williams tacked on 12 points and six boards. Dominique Holloway finished with 12 points.

Pitt, which has just two players returning from a season ago, fell to 0-3 with the loss. The Bulldogs will look to right the ship Dec. 4 on the road against Rockingham Community College.

Including the RCC game, seven of PCC's next eight games will be on the road. After Rockingham, Pitt travels to Louisburg, Chapel Hill and Martinsville, Va., before returning to the Charles Coburn Center Jan. 6 to face Lenoir Community College. Road games against Johnston, Vance-Granville and Catawba Valley follow.
