Workers' Compensation Information
Workers' Compensation provides coverage to all employees to cover medical expenses and lost time from work due to most work-related injuries. Upon accidental injury on the job a PCC employee is covered by Workers' Compensation. Workers' Compensation would be the primary carrier and any doctor or medical facility should be informed that it is a Workers' Compensation case. Employees should fill out a Form 19 within 5 days of accident along with a supervisor's report.
Employee's paid from State Funds are covered by CorVel.
Employee's paid from County Funds are covered by Key Risk.
Medical Authorization forms must be completed in Human Resources.
Any employee that has a work related injury or illness needs to contact their supervisor and Human Resources as soon as possible.
