Preventing Sexual Misconduct – Title IX (Online Training Course)

Available February 1st – 29th 

This thirty (30) minute training course focuses on the special responsibilities employees have in helping their school maintain a respectful environment. Not only must they refrain from engaging in inappropriate conduct themselves, but they also must know what to do when they observe or learn of inappropriate conduct by others.

The topics covered in this course include —Reasons for concern, anti-harassment laws and policies, sexual harassment and sexual violence, types of harassment, conduct to be avoided, reporting sexual harassment, responding to complaints, avoiding retaliation, and maintaining a respectful work environment.

General Search Committee Training

February 4th 1pm- 3pm 

Attracting, hiring, and retaining an excellent and diverse faculty and staff is a top priority for colleges nationwide. PCC utilizes a search committee for the hiring process to help ensure consistent and equal employment in hiring decisions to hire the “best” candidate for the position. This training session is open to any faculty or staff member and will allow you to participate in the search committee process. During this session you will learn about your part in the process, legalities of the interview process, and about behavioral based interviewing.

New Performance Evaluation Process Training

With the 2015-16 Performance Review period we have implemented changes to the Performance Evaluation Forms and Processes. These can be found online on the PCC HR Webpage. During the training session we will go over the new forms and the new policy/procedures.

This 20-minute drug-free workplace training course explains the importance of and principles behind a drug-free workplace in simple, understandable terms. It includes pop quizzes, news clippings and a final quiz highlighting real-world compliance issues that employees should learn to spot and respond to.
