Emergency Medical Technician-Basic

This course offers prospective students the opportunity to learn and practice lifesaving skills pertinent to today's lifestyles.  EMT's respond to medical 911 calls and accompany firefighters and law enforcement into hazardous situations to provide lifesaving treatment and care to sick, injured, or wounded people.  Upon successful completion of the course, you will be offered the opportunity to sit for the state and national examinations and earn subsequent certification and licensure.  Cost: $181.25 plus additional costs. * Additional online work required.

 

Paramedic
Hours: 1158

This course offers prospective students the opportunity to learn and practice lifesaving skills pertinent to today's lifestyles.  EMT's respond to medical 911 calls and accompany firefighters and law enforcement into hazardous situations to provide lifesaving treatment and care to sick, injured, or wounded people.  The paramedic practices at an advanced life support level, with an advanced scope of practice.  This career choice is in high demand, offering stability, great salaries, and excellent job security.  Upon successful completion of the course, you will be offered the opportunity to sit for the state and national examinations and earn subsequent certification and licensure.  This class has 658 classroom hours and 500 clinical hours  Cost: $181.25 plus additional costs.
